It's a war they won't call a war. Except for the Prince of Peace (he got the FIFA trophy, after all!), who calls it a war (when he doesn't call it an "excursion," more on that below), and shrugs when he blandly states that "some people will die." It's ok though! "It's going to be a great deal for the world."
The U.S. attacked Iran on February 28. Shortly after, it was confirmed that the supreme leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei was killed. People rejoiced, and rightly so. Khamenei was a very bad guy. He was brutal, and many protestors who rose up were killed.
The war didn't end there, though. Bombings kept up, other nations were roped in, and it escalated with Iran blocking oil shipments through the Strait of Hormuz.
No one knows what the goal of the war is; no one knows what will indicate "mission accomplished."
Regime change? The U.S. killed many of the people that they would have liked to have installed as leader. Iran has chosen Khamenei's son, Mojtaba Khamenei, to be the next supreme leader. He is younger, and likely even more hard-line. Great. So, no regime change.
Destroying nuclear capabilities? Didn't they brag about that being done back in June, 2025 when a limited airstrike "totally obliterated" Iran's nuclear capabilities? π€
In any case, Russia will undoubtedly help Iran rebuild any damages to their nuclear program.
Destroying the Iranian navy? Given that Iran is laying mines in the Strait of Hormuz and absolutely controlling the flow of oil out of the area, that doesn't seem likely. Orange Julius Caesar has said that the air and sea defenses have been "wiped out," but you know how much he tells the truth.
Curbing terror? Son, I am sorry to say, this area has been embroiled in violent conflict for centuries. The U.S. and Iran have been at it since the hostage crisis in 1979. The fact is, there are and always will be factions who despise the United States.
If anything, our risk of terror here in the United States has only increased. Already there have been reports of threats of drone strikes in California. The authorities have tried to downplay that threat. Even without that, we all know the reality of people already in the U.S. who have the desire and the means to carry out terrorist acts.
The Reality
The reality is, as all realities of war are, ugly.
Reality: As of the time LSR hit "publish," thirteen U.S. service members have been killed, including six in a refueling aircraft crash, and at least 200 wounded. It is estimated that the overall Iranian toll is close to 2000 souls, including 200 children, most of those died in the school that the U.S. struck.
Reality: Dozens of nations have been roped into the conflict. Headline: War on Iran swiftly becomes global conflict. (LA Times, March 10). Does anyone else read this as "U.S. has started World War III"?
Reality: Israel is backing the U.S. Or is it the U.S. is backing Israel? It is obvious that Pendejccio is still acting as Israel's puppet.
Reality: Russia is backing Iran. And yet, another reality is... Howdy Doo-Doo is still acting as Russia's puppet....
Reality: The big winner, no matter the final outcome, is Russia. Russia is helping Iran, and the U.S. is helping Russia. SCROTUS has lifted sanctions on oil and let Russia sell their oil for much money. Money, it may be obvious, that will be used to continue crushing Ukraine.
Reality: Iran controls the Strait of Hormuz, through which 20% of the world's oil travels, and it is not a good situation through there. If Iran decides that no ships get through, then no ships get through.
Many nations across the globe have started releasing their emergency reserves. Those won't last long, though. We may be headed for a real energy crisis.
Reality: Gas prices are up. As of today, average prices are up 35¢/gallon in just the last week. Follow gas prices at AAA.
The cost of oil has skyrocketed, going from about $65 a barrel to $100 a barrel over the course of the two-week-old war.
And you better like it.
Thank you for your attention to this matter.
Reality: As of this writing, the Dow has dropped almost 7% since the war started. As I hit "publish," the Dow is at 46,500 points.
Hey, Bondi Barbie! How is that "Ignore it all! The Dow is at 50,000!" talking point going?
Reality: The U.S. is spending upwards of $1,000,000,000 - one billion dollars - per day on the war. PER DAY. So far, as of this writing, we've spent $11+ billion.
Meanwhile, our health insurance premiums have doubled, tripled, or in LSR's case, quintupled.
Reality: The Regime is acting like this is some sort of game. Indeed, on the Department of Defense social media, they posted a video with images from war movies and video games. Weird and disgusting and disturbing. File this under cringe, below.
Secretary of War Crimes Whiskey Pete Kegsbreath continues his flagrant disregard for "stupid rules of engagement." That damn Geneva Convention! Always ruining the fun!
He puffs up his chest and juts his chin, acting oh-so-macho, while sending other people's loved ones to peril.
Reality: The optics – which are admittedly the least of the awfulness – are awful.
There has been chatter that the regime has asserted that the Iran war, as "is part of God’s plan," and that the Apricot Pol Pot was "anointed by Jesus to light the signal fire in Iran to cause Armageddon and mark his return to Earth," according to reports from journalist Jonathan Larson.
Can we please not?
More optics. The remains of service members who were killed were returned to the U.S. for burial. Meeting the caskets is one of a president's most solemn duties. This moron showed up to the dignified transfer in his branded baseball cap. A baseball cap! Not only did he attend in the cap, he declined to remove it as he met the caskets coming home.
Everyone was horrified. FAUX News decided that it was such a horrifying sight that they needed to deceive their viewers. Instead of that day's footage of the (un)dignified transfer, they ran footage of another dignified transfer that was made back in December, 2025.
And this. "A great honor" to be killing people?
Read more on the supposed objectives from these sources:
El Pendejo Naranjo has been accused of horrendous crimes. No one in the GOP is talking about it. I desperately want him to see justice before his brain completely rots.
Speaking of rot....
Dementia Don
There's a lot more evidence of his brain rot. His grasp on reality is slipping.
Cognitive signs:
Saying "It could be both" in response to a couple different questions. In a clip that is shown below, he was asked, "You just said it is a little excursion and you have said it is a war. Which is it?"
His response: " Well, it's both. It's an excursion that we'll keep us out of a war and the war is going to be, ahhh, well for them it's a war. For us, it turns out it's easier than we thought."
In a different episode, he had the same nonsense answer:
Q: You said the war is 'very complete.' But your defense secretary says 'this is just the beginning.' So which is it?
He has answered "I don't know" on at least two occasions to questions about the school missile strike.
I'm convinced he just doesn't know what is going on. If his handlers have briefed him, he did not understand or did not remember.
This is on top of a habitual liar who is also a person who is incapable of taking responsibility. Perhaps he is side-stepping the issue, or perhaps he can't think of the right lie, so he just says, "I don't know" or "It could be both."
And this absolute confabulatory nonsense:
Speech and Language signs:
He continues to flub up his speech, for example here:
He mixed up KellyAnne Conway, his press secretary from v1.0, with KKKaroline Leavitt, his current press secretary. Major semantic paraphasia!
Trump shouts out Kellyanne Conway ... and seems to think she still works for him? pic.twitter.com/gtkZIV5Y3c
His auditory comprehension/auditory processing is obviously impaired and getting worse. It may be hearing loss, but it also may be a higher-level processing difficulty, which is a sign of his dementia.
He keeps calling the event in Iran an "excursion." Of course, this makes no sense. No one has ever referred to a military action as an excursion as if troops were jaunting through the woods.
Someone on the internet surmised that he heard "incursion" from his handlers, and he either misheard or mis-processed the word and adopted "excursion." I wholeheartedly agree with that theory. His brain just ain't brainin'.
A new analysis has found that his language level when he speaks is now down to that of an eight-year-old. This is even worse than the level he spoke at during Regime 1.0, when an analysis showed he spoke at a fourth-grade level.
Behavioral signs:
These signs overlap with his impaired speech. He has a markedly slow rate of speech at times, sounding very flat and short of breath. The slow, flat, apathetic-sounding speech is indicative of his dementia; the shortness of breath could be due to his congestive heart failure.
Look at this video at the "Shield of the Americas" summit. He is incredibly short of breath, and his speech is slow and stilted. He seems apathetic. His affect is flat. He forgot his orange spackle this day, too.
In other clips about the war, he shrugs and speaks mildly about death and destruction.
"There will likely be more. That's the way it is." Oh, well.

Get this: Traitor Tot has fallen in love with a certain style of Florsheim shoes. He has taken to guessing the shoe size of his top aides and ordering them the shoes.
Only problem: he is not getting the sizes right.
Sycophants that they are, no one has spoken up. They are all afraid to say that the shoes are the wrong size, and they are afraid to not wear them. So, they once again become laughingstocks.
Tell me you're in a cult without saying you're in a cult.
Side note: The company that owns Florsheim is suing the administration for a refund of tariffs paid.

ICE Barbie was finally fired after a couple of disastrous performances in front of Congress. She was questioned hard, even by people like GOP Louisiana Sen. Kennedy, who did not let her off the hook for spending millions upon millions of dollars for ads featuring her and her many cosplay costumes.
It's a relief to see her gone, but we know that the problem is systemic. BillyBobWayne will probably not be much better (though it's doubtful he will be worse), and until this regime is dismantled in its entirety and sent to the junk heap, we will be struggling.
The Moron Regime
This.
Idiots.
Whiskey Pete is all up in Nazi-tattooed arms about the press publishing what he thinks are unflattering pictures. He is so mad, in fact, that he is banning the press from taking photos at briefings; only DoD photographers can shoot. BuzzFeed has compiled a bunch of photos that Petey may object to. See them here.
Marco Rubio had the opportunity to speak Spanish at a press conference. He was patted on the back like a good little Latino.
After he left the stage, Kegsbreath took the mic and announced, "I only speak American." Marco shot back, "That's OK – I only speak Cuban."
Did Rubio accidentally reveal a glimmer of intelligence about language at that moment? Was "I only speak Cuban" a clap-back? Or was it a boot-licking nod to the regime's threats to "take over" the island nation? Or was the whole episode, as Gustavo Arellano in the LA Times ponders, a time for Marco to fill his role as a vendido, a sell-out, the good boy Little Marco, the regime's "token" Latino.
If Only
Where would we be if only Hilary Clinton had been elected in 2016?
Here she is, kicking ass and taking names at her Congressional hearing about the JE Files.
Tough. As. Nails.
Here is her opening statement and below that are a few clips cobbled together from the full 4-hour session.

Texas Dems chose James Talarico to run for Senate. The Repug candidates are facing a runoff on May 26.
Empty Gee's seat in her deep-red district is also headed for a runoff. The Dem there held his own against the MAGA candidate in the special election to replace MTG. It's unlikely that a Dem can win that deep red district, but numbers matter. A strong blue turnout can portend good things for November. Keep your eyes on the election on April 7.
A federal judge issued a blistering ruling on the Regime's attempted legal attack on Jerome Powell. Judge James E. Boasberg named it for what it is: "There is abundant evidence that the subpoenas’ dominant (if not sole) purpose is to harass and pressure Powell either to yield to the president or to resign and make way for a Fed chair who will. On the other side of the scale, the government has offered no evidence whatsoever that Powell committed any crime other than displeasing the president."
