Several ex-military and ex-intelligence Members of Congress released a poignant video message, reminding service members that they should not follow illegal orders.

The video moved me to tears. Not only is it heart-felt and patriotic, but it shouldn't have to be said. What is happening in this country?

Here it is.

Don't Give Up the Ship.

Piggy went ballistic. In a shocking tirade, he called for their deaths.

Think of it. The president of the United States of America, calling for the deaths of members of congress.

What do you think his followers will do? Hmmmm.... do we have any evidence of past behavior? What did they do on January 6, 2021?

Since his first unhinged nontweets, he's been retweeting his minions' unhinged tweets. For example, one that read, "HANG THEM GEORGE WASHINGTON WOULD !!"

It's not a surprise that the six lawmakers in the video have begun to receive death threats. They have beefed up security and are under 24/7 watch by the Capitol Police.

Pete Kegstand called for Sen. John Kelly, a retired Navy Captain and astronaut, to be investigated over the video. (allegedly) Drunken Pete suggested that Kelly be called back to duty for the sole purpose of court-martialing him.

What the actual eff is happening?!

Kelly is not backing down. Nor should he. No court in any dimension would convict him.

Why could Demented Don be so upset? Because he plans to issue illegal orders!

The right is all crazed because they think service members swore an oath to the Commander-in-Cheat. NO! They swore an oath to the U.S. Constitution. Period.

This awful human being has decided that her boot-licking days are over. After finding a spine and standing up for sex trafficking survivors for a minute, MTG is booking it. Her resignation is effective January 5, 2026. She's retiring just after she is eligible for her congressional pension.

If you bought any of her b.s. "change of heart," I'll let Jeff Tiedrich remind you of what a despicable person she has been for the last five years. He's on the mark, and funny too.

If Marge is truly repentant and seeking redemption, then she will need to act on behalf of the people she has harmed along the way. And it is a lot. Our trust in her will take a long time, and I doubt that this Neanderthal has it in her. My bet is that her face will be all over the cable news. No doubt her next gig will be spouting her toxicity on Faux News for big bucks.

There's chatter that in the wake of MTG's resignation, a slew of resignations are to come. Wouldn't it be loverly if the GOP finally imploded?

Commendable Courts

The courts are still holding. Here are a few good rulings.

Big news! The cases against James Comey and Letitia James were thrown out. It was for the reason we all expected: that the Barbie prosecutor, Lindsey Halligan, was not legally appointed. May she ride off into the disgraced traitor sunset.

A judge is acting on the question of whether the regime violated his order to turn back the flights that were carrying Venezuelan immigrants (including Kilmar Abrego Garcia) to El Salvador in March. He has opened a contempt inquiry.

The Georgia case against The Felon and his co-conspirators lives. Fanni Willis had been removed from the case but a special prosecutor will carry on.

A federal judge ordered schools in Texas to remove the 10 Commandments displays in classrooms. Score one for the U.S. Constitution.

And one mixed one.

SCOTUS put an administrative stay on two federal judges' ruling that blocked Texas's redistricting. Galveston District Judge Jeffrey Brown, a Piggy appointee, joined by Obama appointee David C. Guaderrama, ruled last week that the redistricting could not happen before the 2026 election. It was appealed, of course, and SCOTUS put a stay on the order until they can look at it.

The question they will have to decide (and quickly; the deadline for candidates to file is Monday, December 8) is if the redistricting has to do with race, which would violate the Voting Rights Act, or politics.

Exactly how are they going to figure out that question? 🙄

At least we still have California.

Always with the Oopsies

Oopsies! We we did it all wrong!

Before the case was tossed, there were mistakes upon mistakes in the indictment against James Comey. The DOJ had admitted to a judge that they had made a mistake and that the grand jury had not seen the full indictment. Lead prosecutor Lindsey Halligan admitted that after the grand jury indicted on only two of three counts, she had signed two additional indictments with two counts each and presented one of them to the foreman of the grand jury, not the whole jury.

This was on top of misconduct that the judge had already disliked.

There were so many mistakes in the case that David French of The New York Times called it A Comedy of Errors.

Law is hard!

Oopsies! MAGA accounts are actually foreign agitators!

Not-twitter has a new location feature, and it's showing that many MAGAt accounts, some with hundreds of thousands of followers, originate from other countries. "MAGA NATION" originates in Eastern Europe; "America First" is from Bangladesh. Other MAGAt accounts originate in Chile, Nigeria, Thailand, Morocco, Indonesia.... on and on.

uhhhh.....duh.

Oopsies! Swastikas and nooses are bad after all!

The Coast Guard recently declared that swastikas and nooses don't count as hate symbols. There was, of course, an uproar. They dug in for a bit and then reversed course. Oh yeah, I guess they are bad.

Can you believe this shit? Hegseth's idiots went to a Mexican beach and pounded signs in the sand, declaring it DOD property.

It didn't take long for Mexican officials to come and dig out the signs. They know where they are!

The Border Patrol is monitoring drivers

The Associated Press found that Border Patrol is using a network of license plate readers from coast to coast to monitor where drivers go. They use algorithms to analyze patterns, ostensibly to track illegal activities such as trafficking drugs and human beings.

This should concern all of us. Why are we suddenly living in a Black Mirror episode?

Hey you! You with the Master's Degree! You are not a professional!

Under the Big Bloated Bill, the Department of Education, for student loan purposes, has deemed a slew of professionals as no longer professionals. They include nurses, architects, social workers, physician assistants, physical therapists, occupational therapists, and audiologists and speech-language pathologists.

Excuse me? A two-year master's degree for audiologists and speech-language pathologists is mandatory!

PAs go to school for two years only after their undergraduate degree and after having a year's worth of work in a medical profession.

All of those in the list need higher education and licenses. We are professionals, and it takes a lot of schoolin' to become so.
