P.I.G.G.G.Y.

LSR has been occupied decking the halls, and has not been able to confer with her keyboard.

Buckle Up. We have a lot of newsy bits to cover. There'a a lot of crap to run down, because it's been a whopping two weeks since the last post. May I remind you, in any other administration, any one of these shit nuggets that rain down would be the most scandalocious of scandals and would be written about for weeks and months. As we have it, we can barely catch our breath before the next one falls.

Today we'll talk about the PIGGGY in the room.

Potentate
Ignoramous
Gaslighter
Grampa
Grifter
Yucky

Potentate
Always with the Dictator Shit.

Somali Hate
He has renewed his public disdain for "shithole countries," at the end of a cabinet meeting in front of reporters, in non-tweets, during a recent tyrant talk.

He said this about Somalia and Somalis: “They contribute nothing. I don’t want them in our country. Their country is no good for a reason. Your country stinks and we don’t want them in our country."

"You know, our country's at a tipping point. We could go bad. We're at a tipping point. I don't know if people mind me saying that, but I'm saying it. We could go one way or the other, and we're going to go the wrong way if we keep taking in garbage into our country."

"Their country stinks. They just run around killing each other. We don’t want them in our country."

Wrapped up in this hate is his extra-large helping of hate for Minnesota Rep. Ilhan Omar, an immigrant from Somalia. During his recent tyrant talk, he said this:
I love this Ilhan Omar, whatever the hell her name is, with the little Ching, the little turban. I love her. She comes in, does nothing but bitch. She's always complaining.

She comes from her country where -- I mean, it's considered about the worst country in the world, right? They have no military. They have -- Have no nothing -- they have no Parliament, they don't know what the hell the word Parliament means. They have nothing, they have no police. They police themselves; they kill each other all the time. I love it; she comes to our country and she's always complaining about the Constitution allows me to do this.

Racist asshole!

His hatred for Rep. Omar culminated in her son's harassment. ICE pulled him over in Minneapolis in a blatant racial-profiling incident, and they demanded to be shown his proof of citizenship.

This shit must not stand.

Immigrant Hate in General
He instituted a pause in asylum cases and is disallowing visas from Afghans after that CIA-trained nut murdered two National Guard troops.

To be honest, he doesn't hate all immigrants. Here's what he said during his tyrannical speech:

And to be fair, it's not just immigrants he hates. He also hates foreign visitors. And is obviously afraid of them.

Visitors from 42 countries, in order to get a tourist or business visa in the visa waiver program, will be subject to examination of the last five years of their social media

What. the. actual. hell.

Our cities and towns will be hurting for the lack of tourism. This is already happening:

The Usual Despotism
The regime decided it's a good idea to reward people for submitting tips to the FBI for threats of violence. Ok, not the usual crime-fighting strategy to pay people for tips. But this isn't the usual regime. And it's not the usual crime they are looking for. According to this article, this FBI will pay for tips that "identify 'domestic terrorists' who use violence, or the threat of violence, to advance political and social agendas, including 'adherence to radical gender ideology, anti-Americanism, anti-capitalism, or anti-Christianity.'"

The DOJ lost some good people
DOJ lawyers quit en masse after being pressured to prosecute "anti-semitic" protestors at UCLA. Let's hear it for attorneys standing up for what is right!

National Guard in Minneapolis and NOLA
The stupid deployment of unwanted and unneeded troops to Blue cities continues.

Impending War with Venezuela
Know this: it's not about the drugs. It's about the black gold. Oil, that is. Venezuelan tea. (apologies to Flatt and Scruggs)

The missile strikes on supposed drug boats are one thing.

Saying there will be "land strikes" is quite another.

And now, there is a blockade. The Commander-in-Sleep said it thusly, governing by tweet once again.

Let's see here. Let's count the mentions.

Oil: 5
Drugs: 1 - kinda. "Drug terrorism," whatever that is.

The timing is interesting. The Epstein Files are to be released in two days. What better time to start a war?

Where the hell is Congress??

War Crimes
The heat is turning up on G.I. Joke.

The inspector general at the Pentagon found that the Defense Secretary's recklessness in discussing war plans using the Signal chat app put American lives in danger. You can read the whole report here.

Really, he should have been gone the instant it was found out.

He defended himself at the time, saying that he had the power to declassify information. You can't decide after the fact, when you were found out, that you meant all along to declassify it. "I meant to do that!" We have all used that excuse when we've thrown our bowling ball in the gutter. Doesn't work for the Secretary of Mother-effing Defense.

He wouldn't have defended the actions had it been a different Defense Secretary.

Then there was this repulsiveness that he shared on social media:

Members of Congress finally got to see the video footage of the second strike on the Venezuelan boat that was hit on September 4. The video was shown to the Armed Services Committee.

Many of the members were shaken. Rep. Adam Smith (Wash.) said, “When they [the survivors] were finally taken out, they weren’t trying to flip the boat over. The boat was clearly incapacitated. A tiny portion of it remained, capsized, the bow of the boat. They had no communications device. Certainly, they were unarmed. Any claim that the drugs had somehow survived that attack is hard, hard to really square with what we saw.”

Smith called the video “deeply disturbing” and said “it did not appear that these two survivors were in any position to continue the fight.”

It would've shaken any of us. That is, except Rep. Tom Cotton (Ark.). He listed a bunch of "maybes" and "presumablys" when describing the "righteous" attack.

From NBC News:
Cotton alleged that the survivors appeared at one point to try to flip over the capsized boat, “presumably to rescue its cargo and continue their mission,” he added.

Asked whether they could have been trying to flip over the boat to stay afloat, Cotton said, “Maybe they were signaling to other airplanes or drug cartel boats, because they’re in waters that are just off drug cartel areas.”

“At one point, the guy takes off his T-shirt, maybe he’s trying to get a sun tan,” Cotton added. “It doesn’t really matter what they were trying to do. What matters is that they were not in a shipwreck state, distressed, dog-paddling in the water.”

Despicable. Go back to Arkansas, you tool.

Kegstand has also told US soldiers in Iraq to ignore legal advice and rules of engagement. He's said in the past that war shouldn't have pesky rules.

Let's let newly elected Rep. Mikie Sherrill (NJ) speak for We the People:

Whiskey Pete has said that he will not release the video of the second strike to the public. After he admitted that he didn't stick around to see the second strike, he blamed it on the "fog of war."

This person will someday be in prison, and I will rejoice.

ICEtrocities
Just a few today. There are a lot, and this is always the hardest part for me. I know you share my heartache and outrage.

Pregnant and Shackled
This article in the LA Times gutted me. Pregnant people are being snatched by ICE and treated very poorly. They are not receiving care, and some are losing their babies. Such brutality. Here in the United States. What is happening?

It's against office ICE and BP policy to detain pregnant people in the first place, but what are rules and policies anyway, let alone morals? "Pregnant and shackled in ICE facilities" by Rachel Uranga

Local-to-me News
The local holiday parade in Santa Barbara's mostly-Latino East side was canceled this year due to fear of ICE. So sad and maddening.

ICE staged at Santa Barbara City College campus in order to raid nearby Latino neighborhoods.

Ignoramus
You remember Tina Peters, who was convicted by the state of Colorado on seven charges related to the attempts to overturn the 2020 election.

Psssst... you ignoramus, you cannot pardon people convicted on state charges.

The State of Colorado has deemed the "pardon" illegal and is not honoring it. Tina Peters will remain behind bars.

More from Fantasy Land. He's reducing drug prices by "200% - 300% - 400% - 500% - 600% - 700% - 800%" Math is hard.

Hell, I'll take alllll the drugs if they will pay me to!

The Tragedy at Brown University
A mass shooting at Brown left two dead. Deranged Don's reaction? *shrug* "Things can happen."

He couldn't even muster thoughts and prayers.

Gaslighting
After promising to reduce prices "on Day 1," he's calling affordability "a Democrat hoax."

Come on, citizens. Don't believe the numbers on the shelf. You think you're paying more than last year? It's just a hoax. Don't believe it! BIDEN!

This is one thing he won't be able to lie his way through. His followers may be gullible, but they can see the black and white numbers in their checking accounts.

He's back to the 37 dolls thing.
Shut. up.

Why do they want to kill us?
The CDC changed its recommendations for the Hepatitis B vaccination schedule for newborns. Once again, they reject science and go rogue, putting Americans at risk for illness and death.

Gaslighting and blaming the victim. Classic abuser, ammirite?

Grampa
TIA Traitor Tot
He slept-walked his way through a meeting with business leaders. He slurred through the whole thing. Then there was this little TIA-ish moment:

Aaron Rupar "We have deadhead fed hair"

Wait, so 5g and 6g are all about camera pixels now?
OK Boomer.

He forgot there is a new pope.

The frantic long-ass tweets
Grampa Füror got panicky about a report on his failing health and went all berserk.

Look at this tweet.

This nonsense is all perseveration. He just can't let go of the medical exams, the "cognitive tests," and the election results.

And the middle-of-the night tweets
2:45 am and he's tweeting about tariffs.

Sundowning..... he's suuunnnndowninnnng.

Wait, so soccer is football now?
TACO apparently just learned that soccer is called football by the rest of the world. Suddenly, he called for naming American football something else. While he was getting his participation trophy from FIFA, he remarked:
"When you look at what has happened to football in the United States, which is soccer in the United States, we seem to never call it (football) because we have a little bit of a conflict with another thing that’s called football. But when you think about it, shouldn’t it really be called … this is football, there’s no question about it. We have to come up with another name for the NFL. It really doesn’t make sense when you think about it."
Dementia? Or just an Idiot?

Disgusting and not at all surprising

He is a vile man with a rotting brain.

Someone fixed it.

Amazingly, Repugs are condemning his message.

Even still, he doubled down. Absolutely despicable (I'm running out of words to describe this evil human).

Here's how a real statesman responds.

Confabulation
I've mentioned before that confabulation is a hallmark symptom of dementia. Confabulation is making up stories out of whole cloth. It's different than lying, because the person believes the untruth to be true. And it's not for purposes of deception; it's simply a glitch in the brain. The patient simply has difficulty with reality now.

The trouble with Delusional Don is that he lies as often as he breathes, and his confabulation might be hard to tease apart from his run-of-the-mill lies. This one is confabulation because there is no political reason for it. He doesn't need to tell this story to advance any narrative. It's just weird.

At the Whitewash House's Christmas speech, he told the story of a Peruvian viper. But it was rambling. And nonsensical. And weird. Someone on the internet speculated that he was re-telling his favorite parable about the snake that was invited in with disasterous results, with the snake saying at the end, "You knew I was a snake from the start." But 10 minutes later, no one really knew.

Confabulation at its best!

Portions are below (May I again sing the praises of Aaron Rupar, who watches all the shit for us and culls the bits?).

May I offer Stephen Colbert's take on this story?

Grifter
The Conmaster-in-Chief has:
  • Hosted the Kennedy Center Awards Ceremony. Don't you have better things to do? It was....awkward. The recipients were B-list maga-adjaent has-beens, except maybe Sly Stallone who could barely look at him. Recipients included Stallone, Gloria Gaynor, and KISS, with a performance by the Village People. Michael Che from SNL's Weekend Update asked the question: "Is Donald Trump a gay man from 1978?"
  • Finagled a "Peace Prize" from Gianni Infantino at FIFA, and then promptly had his DOJ drop charges in an international soccer corruption case.
  • Pardoned Rep. Alex Cuellar (Tex.) who had been indicted on bribery, conspiracy and money laundering charges, but whose trial had yet to begin, then called him "disloyal" when Cuellar decided to run again as a Democrat. By the way, please, Texas, do not give this man the time of day.
Began issuing the gold "Drumpf Card" to rich immigrants. For a cool $1 million, you too can get to the front of the immigration line. I wonder what will happen when the person with the $1 million check is brown?
Yucky
In Epstein news, two judges have separately ordered that the Ghislaine Maxwell grand jury records can be released, as well as records from the 2019 Jeffrey Epstein case.

A tranche of photos hit Congress's desk, and they released a few of them. I don't care to share them here, but you can find them at news sources, or go straight to the source.

In any case, some of the people in the photos include Bill Clinton, Woody Allen, Bill Gates, Steve Bannon, the Prince formerly known as Andrew, and billionaire Richard Branson.

There's a photo of condoms for sale, with packaging that has the Groper-in-Chief's face and reads, "I'm huuuuuge!" 🤮

The photos with people in them followed a release of photos from around Epstein's island property, including inside the house. Some of them are disturbing, like the room with a dental chair and bizarre masks of men hung on the walls.

After the release of the photos, the Diddler went to his social media and  posted 21 times in seven minutes.

Can you say panic?

Watch for more in the coming days and weeks. Friday's December 19 deadline for DOJ to release of all the files is quickly approaching.

The Rest of 'em What's in the Pigsty

Oh dear gawd this is the vice president of the United States of America.

Oh dear lord this one is Secretary of Health and Human Services

Heavens to Mergatroyd this one is the Homeland Security Secretary
ICE Barbie appeared before Congress. She was rude and condescending and she left early.

But not before Rep. Magaziner (RI) raked her over the mothereffing coals.

Holy Shit. The Secretary of State wages war on a font
Li'l Marco Rubio decided that the sans serif Calibri font was too "woke" and swapped it on official State Department correspondence for Times New Roman.

Calibri was chosen for his improved accessibility for people with vision impairments. So, yes, woke. And so he proved himself just another Piggy.

Great Balls of Fire. The FBI is Full of Idiots
FBI official Michael Glasheen couldn't answer questions from Rep. Bennie Thompson (Miss.) about just where Antifa headquarters might be located.

My, my. Federal Judge Emil Bove Skirts Ethics
This already corrupt judge attended Baby Hands's campaign-style event in Pennsylvania. Not surprising.

A judicial group has filed an ethics complaint against him, under the principles listed in the Code of Conduct for federal judges, which says judges "should avoid impropriety and the appearance of impropriety in all activities" and "should refrain from political activity."

Corporate Shenanigans
Time Person of the Year AI Cover
Tone Deaf? Ironic? Weird? or What?

You will remember the iconic photograph, "Lunch atop a Skyscraper," that this image was based on. It's a photo from 1932, in the middle of the Depression, depicting immigrant iron workers who were building the RCA Building (now 30 Rockefeller), sitting 850 feet up eating lunch. The photographer is unknown.

I think the Time image is warped and tone deaf, but I get their point.

Pantone's Color of the Year
Are they making a statement?

The Rich are Getting Richer

So gross!

Robert Reich has ideas about How to Get Rid of “Citizens United”. We need to do it desperately. Let's harness states' rights and demolish that abomination!

Congress
After sitting on their thumbs for weeks, it was announced today that centrist Republicans are bucking Speaker Johnson and forcing a vote on extending the healthcare premiums. Either it will spur them to vote to extend the subsidies, or at the very least it will have them on record. The voters will remember in November.

The More Things Change, the More They Stay the Same Files
Here's Richard Pryor schooling an entitled, uninformed white lady in 1978.

The Resistance is Growing
Today's list of positives is long!

It'll be a quick run-down, as this post has already grown so long! Know that there is movement up and out of this mess.

ICE Resistance
Remember these names: Marcelo Gomes da Silva and George Retes. Both are putting voice to the unfortunate encounters with ICE. They are pushing back and exposing the horrors of ICE.

High School senior Gomes da Silva, a Brazilian national, was on his way to volleyball practice when he was detained by ICE and held for several days. Once he was released, he was not afraid to speak out about the atrocious conditions he faced. The Boston Globe awarded him as one of their Bostonians of the Year.

George Retes, a United States citizen and Army veteran, was on his way to work when he encountered ICE surrounding his place of business at a Southern California cannibis farm. He was traumatically detained by ICE and held for three days in brutal conditions. He is speaking out about it wherever he can, including in front of Congress. Please watch his testimony.

Daily Memo
Memo Torres is a citizen activist and has been the eyes and ears of the immigrant community in Los Angeles, documenting ICE activities nearly daily in videos he compiles and posts to LA Taco. Here are his videos and here is an article about him.

Election Yays!
Odd-year elections ushered in a blue wave in November, but there were a few odder odd-year elections this month.

Tennessee
Republican Matt Van Epps defeated Democrat Aftyn Behn in a battle for Tennessee's deep red 7th District. So what, you ask? A Repug won a red seat.

Ohhh but look at the margin! This is a district that DonOld won in 2024 by 22 points. Van Epps squeaked by with a 4.5% margin over Behn. This 15 point swing is great news! It portends good things for next year.

Georgia
A state House seat was flipped red to blue. 47 had won this district. Excellent!

Florida
Miami handily flipped the mayoral seat blue. It hadn't been held by a Democrat for nearly 30 years. Way to be, Miami!

Indiana
Indiana resisted pressure from The DearGawdFather and refused to draw new districting maps. I'll let former Indiana native Pete Buttigieg tell you about it.

Courts Staying Strong
  • A federal judge found Alina Habba to be unqualified to serve as New Jersey US Attorney, and so she resigned. An appeals court agreed.
She was not the first attorney that Dear Leader tried to slip in without Senate confirmation. Once the courts caught up to her unlawful appointment, she was out, just like her Attorney Barbie sister, Lindsey Halligan.
  • The National Trust for Historic Preservation filed a lawsuit about demolishing East Wing. They are asking the court to block any construction until the Regime goes through the proper permitting and reviews.
  • Hair Hitler must end National Guard deployment in LA.
U.S. District Judge Charles Breyer in San Francisco granted an injunction and an appeals court upheld it. The remaining Guard troops are ordered to leave by this past Monday December 15.
  • Kilmar Abrego Garcia is finally out of custody! Maryland Judge Paula Xinis ordered his immediate release. I hope someday he gets justice for all the wrongs done to him by the United States government.

Mark Kelly, American Hero
After the Mango Mussolini called for his execution, Sen. Kelly spoke out. Here is the press conference. I was moved by this. Another presidential hopeful?

Corporate Hero
Costco is suing the regime for a refund on tariffs.

SCOTUS still has yet to rule on the legality of the tariffs. If they rule against the Regime, then Costco's suit will move forward for a refund.

Another reason to shop at Costco!

One More Rat Falling off the Ship
Chief of Staff Susie Wiles spilled the beans to Vanity Fair. She gave up a lot of dirt.

A few quotes:
  • Boss Baby “has an alcoholic’s personality.”
  • Talking about the firing of James Comey: "I mean, people could think it does look vindictive. I can’t tell you why you shouldn’t think that.” 🤔
  • JD DI-VANce has “been a conspiracy theorist for a decade”
  • Elmo is “an avowed ketamine” user
  • A.G. Barbie “completely whiffed” in handling the Epstein files.

It looks like there is no paywall to read it. Here are the links to Part 1 and Part 2. Other media have picked it up. Read in New York Times (gift article) or see this video from Jake Tapper at CNN.

She is back-pedaling hard, and there is speculation that she might not have known that she was on the record. Yeah, how confusing to meet 11 times with a reporter and a tape recorder. Who knew they'd quote you??

So far, the Regime is circling the wagons – Fake News! – but I have a feeling it's a matter of time before she exits. How can Dear Leader even stand it that she might have the tiniest chance of saying those things?

Look at these near-simultaneous posts. A little sus. Could be explained by the analysis below.

And then there's this guy's take.

A Note About the Person Attached to the Fingers on This Keyboard and her Sister Resisters (because this is part journal)
I always think hard before I engage MAGAts on social media. Recently a sister resister was rebuked under her post. The poster was a small-m maga, that is, a maga dressed up in "moderate" clothing. Because if you are still a "moderate," you are on that side. Or woefully uninformed. Or you just don't care. Or all of the above.

So after a day of "do I really want to say anything?" I did. I cannot let an unwarranted and misguided rebuke stand, especially to one of the kindest, most caring people on the planet.

What I said wasn't against the person at all, it was pro-resistance.

The response to my response was "Enjoy your anger."

Another rebuke. At least that's what it felt like.

So I took a step back to examine my response. Was I angry? And should I be?

I decided: Yes. And oh, hell yes

I don't live in my anger. It does not consume me; it does not paralyze me. It is not bad anger. It spurs me to good trouble.

As it does for all of us resisters.

Then I found this quote: "Hope has two beautiful daughters; their names are Anger and Courage. Anger at the way things are, and Courage to see that they do not remain as they are." ~ Saint Augustine

How beautiful and apt for us, Resisters! Let's be angry. Let's not be afraid to show our anger, even if it makes others uncomfortable. Let's keep up the resistance and NOT be silenced, no matter what. Silence and "moderation" are the poison of our country.

Be strong, Resisters. Make good trouble.

Memes and Toons in Next Post, with lots of Christmas greetings!

Stay tuned!
