Bored of Peace

The Senile old Fart Machine convened his "Board of Peace" for their first meeting last week.

Widdle guy just couldn't stay awake.

It's a stooopid board anyway. Just another grift. He is asking nations to join at $1 billion a pop. Where is that money going? Directly into the pockets of the "Chairman for Life" grifter King Wannabe.

Many nations were invited to join, but most sane nations – as well as the Pope – have said hell no! Those willing to join include a mishmash of countries led by dictators or criminals, as well as some that purely want to curry favor of the Fragile Ego Baby. They include: Albania, Argentina, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Bahrain, Belarus, Bulgaria, Cambodia, Egypt, El Salvador, Hungary, Indonesia, Israel, Jordan, Kazakhstan, Kuwait, Kosovo, Mongolia, Morocco, Pakistan, Paraguay, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Turkey, United Arab Emirates, Uzbekistan, and Vietnam.

The idea, as far as I understand, is to replace the United Nations and line the pockets of the idiot who seized the U.S. Institute of Peace building last year, fired all the employees, and put his goddam name on it.

A Big Win
SCOTUS handed a biggie to the "Loser" column last week when it struck down all of TACO's tariffs. It's a win for every American.

He got bigly mad, and after his sweaty, unhinged public response, he turned over the game board and shrieked, "I'll show you! 10% – no, 15% – tariffs on all of you!"

Though the stock markets held steady after SCOTUS's ruling, on Monday, markets tanked in response. No doubt he'll buy up some cheap stocks, and like the TACO he is, walk back his threats to tariff the globe.

In the meantime, there are lawsuits ramping up to try to sue for a refund of the tariffs paid so far. I wonder how that will turn out.

CBS = Corrupt Bootlicking Scum
CBS has continued its path down Boot Lick Lane, leaning into censorship again.

It wasn't enough to fire Stephen Colbert outright, ending his 10-year run on CBS late night. Last week they warped the equal-time rule, which provides equal time for candidates appearing on the public airwaves. The rule has generally exempted late night and daytime talk-shows entertainment shows.

CBS, under corrupt leader Bari Weiss and undoubtedly in conspiracy with FCC chair Brenden Carr, told Colbert that he could not have James Talarico, running for U.S. Senate in Texas, appear on the show nor could Colbert talk about their decision to disallow Talarico from appearing on the show.

So, Colbert did what he does. He talked about it on the show. And then he released the interview straight to YouTube, which is out of the censors' reach. The interview has been viewed 8.5 million times so far. Talarico gained a lot of buzz and raised $2.5 million in the 24 hours after the incident. Well done, CBS!

Here's Colbert's interview with Talarico:

Here's Talarico's opponent, Rep. Jasmine Crockett talking to Jen Psaki about it. (P.S. Can Texas please elect both Talarico and Crockett to the U.S. Senate? Pretty please?)

Olympics Talk

Trumplethinskin and his cronies could not keep their stink off the most unifying of world events, the Olympics. It's so sad and maddening that athletes who have devoted their lives to their sport had to endure the petty froth-mouthed children that roam around bored in the White House.

First there was Hunter Hess, who Itty Bitty Amin targeted on social media after Hess expressed his ambivalence about representing the U.S.A. given the fuckin' shitshow we are subjecting the world to. Those are my words. Hess was much more diplomatic. He said:
"It brings up mixed emotions to represent the U.S. right now, I think. It's a little hard. There’s obviously a lot going on that I’m not the biggest fan of and I think a lot of people aren't.

I think for me, it’s more I’m representing my, like, friends and family back home, the people that represented it before me, all the things that I believe are good about the U.S. I just think if it aligns with my moral values, I feel like I’m representing it."
Corporal Bone Spurs, who has never lifted anything heavier than a Big Mac, fumble-thumbed his way through an insulting post, calling Hess a "loser," never once thinking about the human being on the end of his tirade.

It affected Hess. He was subjected to hate and threats. He said it was "the hardest two weeks of his life." Goddammit. I hate this for him.

In the end, Hess handled it like the champ that he is. After his Olympic qualifying run on halfpipe, Hess flashed the "loser" sign. He went on to run some amazing halfpipe tricks in the final. Who knows if Dingus Con was watching or if his view was occluded by ketchup.

Olympic skier Eileen Gu was also subject to the regime's ugliness. Gu was born in San Francisco and has a Chinese mother. She has chosen to compete for China since 2018. The Couch Fucker decided she was fair game and stuck his nose in to give his opinion on that. A vapid opinion that has no weight and no real power, only the power to harm.

Di-Vance questioned her choice to compete for her (literal) motherland and not the U.S.A. He said, "I certainly think that somebody who grew up in the United States of America, who benefited from our education system, from the freedoms and liberties that make this country a great place, I would hope that they want to compete with the United States of America. So, I’m going to root for American athletes. I think part of that is people who identify themselves as Americans. That’s who I’m rooting for in this Olympics."

I certainly think that we should root for all the athletes. They have worked their whole lives to reach this moment, and we should applaud all of them! Precious few on this Earth have been able to call themselves Olympians, Maybelline Man, and you ain't one of them. Keep your thinks to yourself. Jerk.

FBI Director Krazy Eyes Ka$h took a government jet – on our dime, to the tune of $75,000 – to Italy to catch a hockey game. When the U.S. men's hockey team won the gold medal, he partied with them like a fool frat boy in their locker room.

Seriously. This is where we are, folks.

The hockey team were having their moment of glory, one that was well deserved. They are world-class athletes who trained hard. It was the first gold-medal win for men's hockey since the "Miracle on Ice" in 1980. They deserved to relish their victory.

What they did not deserve is to be set up as another propaganda piece by a misogynistic, cruel, senile Ego Baby.

Please know that the U.S. women's hockey team also won the Olympic gold medal. They were in a different locker room, on a different day, also celebrating big and relishing their win. They worked equally as hard for their training, leaving just as much blood, sweat, and tears on the ice as the men's team.

And by the way, they didn't have an opportunity for a "Miracle on Ice" until 18 years after the men. There was no such thing as Olympic women's hockey until 1998.

So while the men were celebrating, the Orange Menace called in to the locker room and spat his ugly venom against women.

Here's the video.

It's a little hard to hear in places. Here's what was said:
"I just told my people two minutes ago, I didn't know they’d be calling, I said, we’re giving the State of the Union speech on Tuesday night. I can send a military plane or something, but if you would like to, it’s the coolest night, it’s the biggest speech."

One player: "We’re in."

Other players repeat, with cheers: "We’re in!" "Yes."

Another player: "Can you pick us up in Miami on Tuesday morning?"

Trump: "We will get Kash (Patel) and we will get the military to get you guys."

One player, as cheers erupt: "Boys are going to the State of Union!"

Trump: "The nice thing about being the president is I can tell you you don't have to worry about the weather or landing. …. We don't care if it's snowing, if it's the worst blizzard …."

.....

"We will do it at the White House — what would really be cool, and we will do the White House the next day. We will just have some fun, we have medals for you guys. And we have to — I must tell you we are going to have to bring the women’s team, you do know that?"

Trump and the players laughed.

Trump: "I do believe I probably would be impeached, ok?

More laughter.

But, anyway, if you can work that out I would be honored to have you all. I’ll introduce you to the whole…."

Patel: "I got it boss I got it."

Trump: "Ok? You got it Kash?"

Patel: "I’m on it. I’m fucking on it."

To a man, they laughed at the idiot's "joke" about the women's team. Not one stood up for his sisters.

And now, they are pariahs. They – rightfully so – are being called out for playing along with the Pussy-Grabber-in-Chief. I would like to be able to give them grace, to acknowledge the "heat of the moment" and the elevated emotions that day. I will never give them a pass for "boys will be boys." The men had a chance to step up, push back, say "No!" to misogyny. They had a chance to prove "not all men." And they did not.

And that, as so many women on the internet have said, is why we will always choose the bear.

Their glorious Olympic win, and the women's glorious Olympic win, forever have an orange stain on them.

That is so sad.

From the Epstein Files
Another Olympic note here.

As we look toward the 2028 Summer Olympics in Los Angeles, there is mounting pressure for 2028 Olympics Chairman Casey Wasserman step down. Wasserman is in the Epstein files. Wasserman was married at the time that he exchanged flirty, sexually-charged emails with Ghislaine Maxwell.

The United Nations Human Rights Council released a statement that due to the wide-reaching heinous crimes that were perpretrated by the Epstein cabal, there is a cause to declare that it consists of crimes against humanity. Here is part of their statement
According to the experts, these acts could amount to sexual slavery, reproductive violence, enforced disappearance, torture, inhuman and degrading treatment, and femicide.

“These crimes were committed against a backdrop of supremacist beliefs, racism, corruption, extreme misogyny, and the commodification and dehumanisation of women and girls from different parts of the world,” the experts said.

“The ‘Epstein Files’, which are suggestive of the existence of a global criminal enterprise have shocked the conscience of humanity and raised terrifying implications of the level of impunity for such crimes.”

“So grave is the scale, nature, systematic character, and transnational reach of these atrocities against women and girls, that a number of them may reasonably meet the legal threshold of crimes against humanity,” they said.
If our justice system is putting their head in the sand, then maybe the larger global community will be able to bring justice.

Please watch these snippets from Lisa Rubin who details the cross-referencing of memos and interviews that show that a survivor's testimony naming The Groper-in-Chief in heinous acts are missing from the records that have been released.

Rubin: "There is at least one witness for whom 3 interviews with the FBI in in 2019 are missing [from the Epstein files]. What's the big deal? We can also confirm she is the same person who in a 2025 FBI presentation is identified as accusing Trump of a sexual assault when she was between 13 and 15"

The Prince Formerly Known as Andrew was arrested. It was the first time in nearly 400 years that a member of the British royal family has been arrested.

It's a tangential charge to the heinous sex crimes that were perpetrated by him and Epstein and the others. He was arrested for suspicion of "misconduct in public office," by allegedly providing Jeffrey Epstein with trade reports while acting as Britain's special envoy for international trade.

He'll be investigated thoroughly. There's no question "misconduct in public office" is not the only crime that will be uncovered in their investigation. Virginia Giuffre said so.

Here he is after his arrest. He fucked around, and he is finding out.

Side note: some activists displayed this photo in the Louvre!

Perhaps this will lead to more arrests. We can hope.

Ghislaine Maxwell is fighting to keep some 90,000 pages of the Epstein files secret, saying their release is unconstitutional.

Guess what, asswipe? You don't have a say. You trafficked children into the hands of powerful men. We the People demand to know the truth, and you in your room at Club Fed don't get to hide it.

She's angling for clemency from her co-conspirator Drumpf, saying she'll only talk to Congress if she gets it.

Take a long walk off a short bridge, scum.

From the WTF? Files
  • Workout video with Kid Rock and RFK Jr. WTF?
Get your eye bleach out. WTF? The jeans? The milk? I am not sure what this elderly homoerotic piece is getting at, but here ya go.

  • The fact that an AI "John Barron" aka djt "called in" to CSPAN after the SCOTUS tariff decision to complain and we all shrugged and said, "that tracks." WTF?
Somehow the senile old potato inflated this to Greenland cannot adequately provide medical treatment to its citizens so we must send a medical ship there asap!

He sent out a post on his social media.

Ok first of all, WTF is this AI generated painting of the USNS Mercy hospital ship riding off into the sunset?

Secondly, WTF?  The two medical ships that the U.S. employs – the Mercy and the Comfort – were both in dock in Mobile, Alabama undergoing maintenance.Nobody in the U.S. knew what was going on. And no one in Denmark and Greenland knew what was going on. There was no medical care crisis in Greenland. Greenland has excellent socialized medicine and has zero need for any assistance/interverence/play-acting by the United States of America. They said, Stay the fuck away.

Actually Danish Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen was much more polite about it, declining the help and saying that she is "happy to live in a country where there is free and equal access to health for all. Where it's not insurances and wealth that determine whether you get proper treatment."

Preach, sister!

  • The weird way he described the Prince Andrew arrest. WTF?
He said (and these are his actual words to reporters on Hair Farce One), "Well, you know, I'm the expert in a way because I've been totally exonerated. It's very nice. So I can actually speak at it about it very nicely. I think it's very sad, I think it's so bad for the Royal family. It's very, very sad. To me, it's a very sad thing. When I see that, it's a very sad thing."
A very nice, very sad thing. Can you say, "Time to refill your Aricept, grampa."

  • Morons: Discontinuing TSA PreCheck for 24 hours. WTF?
ICE Barbie, in her infinite wisdom, thought it would be dandy for the TSA to suspend PreCheck while the partial government shutdown, affecting DHS functions, is happening.
Of course, chaos and confusion reigned. Seriously? Un-smoothing out the smoothest part of flying will help the situation? Do you really think this is going to own the Libs?

The decision was reversed within a day, adding more confusion. Seriously. WTAF?

ICE Atrocities
I hate this section of LSR. ICE continues their cruel march over everyone's rights. Everyone's. Undocumented immigrants' rights, permanent legal residents' rights, citizens' rights.

Here we go.

United States citizen Ruben Ray Martinez was murdered by federal agents in Texas, months before the murders of Renee Good and Alex Pretti. One key difference: there were no cameras around at the 1:30 a.m. shooting, so DHS hid it away until now.

On March 15, 2025, the 23-year-old Texan was on vacation at Padre Island when he was stopped in a traffic stop. ICE and local police were re-routing traffic at a previous accident and their official report states that (from AP News):
"Though Martinez’s death on March 15, 2025, was reported by local media outlets at the time, federal and state authorities did not disclose that the shooting involved the team from HSI. In a statement Friday, DHS said the driver who was killed “intentionally ran over a Homeland Security Investigation special agent,” resulting in another agent firing “defensive shots to protect himself, his fellow agents, and the general public.”
Hmmmm.... story sounds familiar, doesn't it?

To add another layer of tragedy: a key witness to the murder, the passenger in Martinez's car, was killed in an automobile accident a couple days ago. He had given a statement refuting the official account.

This story was hard to grapple with. Alberto Castañeda Mondragón was transported by ICE to a hospital in the Twin Cities with massive head injuries. They told hospital staff he had "purposefully ran headfirst into a brick wall."

Nurses and doctors at the hospital determined that there was no way that he could have sustained the injuries that he had by that method.

The FBI and local authorities are investigating. Meanwhile, Mondragón is left with lasting neurological damage.

There are plans upon plans for ICE to buy up warehouses to make into detention centers. Newsflash: warehouses are for wares, not people. Some communities are pushing back, like Social Circle, Georgia. Both red and blue voters there are saying no to the use of the massive warehouse as a detention center (the red voters' reason is chiefly NIMBY, but hey we'll take resistance for any reason!). Some owners of warehouses are not selling to ICE.

ICE knows they are in the wrong, and that there will be opposition, so they are hiding their activities. Headline, LA Times February 22, 2026: Facing opposition, ICE sites are kept secret.

This n That
Read this Robin Abcarian column from February 22, 2026: Recent events make you wonder: How much do men really hate women? (if there's a paywall, try this link)

The Repugs continue to do everything they can to keep people from voting. They want to push requiring Voter ID to vote. There's a lot wrong with this scenario, with the risks of disinfranchisement of underprivileged people outweighing the benefits of preventing the minuscule number of fraudulent votes.

From Factually: "Independent research and official databases show voter fraud in the United States is vanishingly rare: studies and compiled case lists count at most a few thousand proven incidents across decades and billions of ballots, with documented cases typically too few to change election outcomes."

From NPR: "After the 2016 election, the Brennan Center for Justice, which advocates for voting rights, surveyed local election officials in 42 jurisdictions with high immigrant populations and found just 30 cases of suspected noncitizens voting out of 23.5 million votes cast, or 0.0001%."

On the surface, voter id sounds like an ok idea. But when you realize that poor people (mostly brown people) do not always have an id, let alone know how to obtain a birth certificate to get one, let alone the time and distance and cost to get one, you realize that that's the point. The reasons for pushing voter id laws is to prevent those voters (read Blue voters) from voting. It's rotten.

A man was shot and killed at Mar-a-Lardo when he breached the perimeter with a gun and a gas canister and allegedly leveled his weapon at law enforcement when they confronted him. Neither Dear Leader nor his wife were home at the time.

He was at a governors' dinner in Washington, where only Repug governors attended. It was the dinner associated with the annual National Governors Association meeting. The meeting had been cancelled, however,  because SCROTUS invited only GOP governors. The association held firm that if only some governors are invited, then no governor will attend.

Yup, another unifying event torn asunder by this clown.

Thank you, Governors Association, for standing up and resisting!

What is this fresh Hell:

Thank you, corrupt SCOTUS, for emboldening this idiot to think like an Emperor.

Judge Aileen "Loose" Cannon permanently blocked release of Jack Smith's case files from the classified documents case. I paid for that investigation! So did you! We deserve to have the results.

She is a pimple on the ass of the judiciary.

We recently passed the anniversary of the plane crash that killed 28 Mexican men and a few Americans in the Central Valley of California in 1948. On the anniversary of their death, ICE sullied their story as only ICE can do.

It's a tragic story. The Mexican men were in California to work. In a deportation much like those we have now, they were being forced to return to Mexico and were on the plane to take them there when it crashed.

The press reported on the plane crash and named the crew and the migra man who was accompanied them. The 28 Mexican men? They were simply noted as "deportees" and were buried in a mass grave near Fresno.

Not only were the bodies not returned home, their families were not notified of their deaths. They did not know what happened for decades.

So this year on January 28, ICE's social media account noted only the passing of the immigration agent on board that day, and said, "The plane he was on to deport 28 illegal Mexican aliens caught fire and crashed killing all onboard."

A lot is wrong with that caption. It's ugly language, the men are officially listed as "Mexican nationals," and it's dehumanizing plain and simple.

Woody Guthrie knew the injustice of the situation then, and he is turning over his grave today. Here is the song he wrote about it. You may have heard it; it's been covered by several artists over the years.

Positives
Just a few today, though many are sprinkled in the above.
  • New Mexico resistance. You may know that Epstein had a ranch in Northern New Mexico. The State is stepping up and launching an investigation into the crimes that were committed there.
  • Chicago resistance. The City of Chicago had a snowplow-naming contest. This year's winning name: Abolish ICE
  • Finally! An ICE whistleblower. This guy talks about the dismal training for ICE agents.
  • This kid. I don't condone violence, of course. But his pluck, his conviction, his courage. He stood up, stood firm, and punched a Nazi.

This resister.

The STFU Address

Who watched? Did you have enough booze/drugs/blood pressure meds/barf buckets?

I wasn't able to watch live as I had guests. Oh darn!  Will LSR watch the rerun? Likely not, because, well, ...I have choices:
As always, I will be indebted to those with stronger constitutions who watch and give us snippets. I will, as always, be here to report.

Stay tuned.

Until then, keep the hope!
