It's the end of the year, and times are busy, and besides that, LSR has had a hard time facing all the news.
Here instead is a little review of my most-read posts, and I will get back to the keyboard soon.
My most read post: A feminist is anyone who recognizes the equality and full humanity of women and men. After Christine Blasey Ford's allegations and Kavanaugh's confirmation, the Right was up in arms about the "harm done to men" by "false allegations." I dissect that view in this post
#2: "Thinking: the talking of the soul with itself": As a speech-language pathologist, I have an eye for what is neurologically wrong with 45/47
#3: Boosting the Signal: I boost Black media sources
#4: Tongue Lashing: SCROTUSese Part 2: More about the disordered speech and language
Of 2024's offerings, the most clicked-on were:
#1: Momala Memes: A meme dump after the presidential debate
#2: Guilty x 34 = 45: I look at his criminal convictions
#3: We Stand with Charlottesville: An old post from 2017. Not sure how this got on the radar in 2024; I don't often know how people find my blog. It's a short accounting of a local protest
#4: Deja Vu All Over Again: My first post-2024 election offering
Thanks for reading, Resisters! I'll be back soon with fresh stuff.
