Is this The Moment?

 The flame thrower:
Stephen "Goebbels" Miller is the mastermind behind all of the immigration crackdown, I'm convinced.

But in any case, the buck stops with 47, despite his protestations that "the buck stops with everybody."

It was a tense situation in Los Angeles over the weekend. On Friday, a few hundred people showed up to protest ICE activities at a Home Depot, and it got a little rough.

It wasn't a riot by any means, and it wasn't anything that local law enforcement couldn't handle.

But the administration wanted a crisis. They escalated the situation when:
  • MAGAts lied to the American people and posted an old video from 2020 that showed a burning car and other violence, implying that it was current.
  • ICE Director Tom Homan threatened the arrest of L.A. Mayor Karen Bass and California Gov. Gavin Newsom. WTAF?
  • Donold tweeted this in the middle of the night (2:41a.m. local time). Keep in mind that this was hours before the troops were sent the next morning.

By the way, every accusation is a confession:

47 and his best li'l boy were waiting for a moment like this in California, the state he hates most. California and its many brown people. California and its blue voting block. California and its smart, resisting governor.

He would show them!

Despite the rather calm event of a few hundred people at most, Orange Julius Caesar sent the National Guard. 2000 of them. Without the request, or even the consent, of the governor. States' rights? What's that?

It is something that hasn't been done in 60 years. The last time the National Guard was federalized was in 1965, when President Lyndon Johnson sent the Guard to Alabama in order to ensure the rights of the people to protest, not to quash a protest.

The situation on the streets of Los Angeles was not out of hand. There were scattered events with dozens of people at each, not a concentrated mob. There had been reports of some vandalism and thrown objects, but not outright violent. The L.A. chief of police himself stated that it was not violent nor anything that the regular police could not handle.

It didn't escalate until the troops were brought in. Of course bringing in the Guard provoked the people. Their very presence inflamed the situation. It's what the administration wanted. They want to inflame and provoke further violence but also to quash the resistance and make people afraid to protest.

Here is an account from two eyewitness journalists from the Los Angeles TimesWhat really happened outside the Paramount Home Depot? The reality on the ground vs. the rhetoric

Anita Chabria writes in the Los Angeles Times:
My intrepid colleagues at this paper have been on the ground since the first protests began, and, as their reporting shows, the majority of what is happening is peaceful and isolated.

Even the cops agree. And seriously, when the cops are agreeing there’s no riot — there is no riot.

“Demonstrations across the City of Los Angeles remained peaceful and we commend all those who exercised their First Amendment rights responsibly,” the Los Angeles Police Department wrote in a statement Saturday night.

The governor was rightly outraged. He dared Tom Homan to come arrest him. 🔥🔥🔥

Governor Newsom hit it on the head when he wrote to his supporters:
“The President is attempting to inflame passions and provoke a response. They want the violence. They think it is good for them politically. To the people of Los Angeles and across the country who are protesting these immigration raids: Don’t give them the spectacle that they want.”

and later, Newsom not-tweeted:

Not only did the increased number of uniformed soldiers very presence up the tension, but law enforcement, as they do, also acted like lawless thugs.

They shot a rubber bullet at an Australian reporter intentionally. Watch:

They had their horses stomp on a protester:

How do they expect people to react?

Newsom intends to sue the administration over their decision to federalize the state's National Guard. A lawsuit was filed this morning.

The situation has calmed down in Los Angeles this morning. If the Marines descend on the city, expect it to escalate.

Be assured, too, that as long as ICE is up to their shenanigans, The People will rise up and protest. And next time it might be worse.

I can't help but think that this issue is the one issue that will bring us to The Moment. The moment where violence will break out and we will be at war of some sort. We may not be able to contain our anger for another 18 months until the midterms. This could be the moment we've been gearing up for.

We protest in the streets on Saturday, June 14, No Kings Day. Please make a plan to go, to be peaceful, and to be safe

Because I hate Miller, I mock him.
